WELCOME TO GREENSBROOK SECTION 1 R/P

Greensbrook Homeowners Association

Who We Are

On behalf of the Board of Directors, welcome to our website! We are the Greensbrook Homeowners Association, Inc., founded in 1983 as a Texas non-profit entity under Chapter 24 of the Texas Property Code and reinstated in 2019 by the Texas Secretary of State. Since its reinstatement, the self-managed Association has actively worked to strengthen and stabilize the community, build a reserve fund for future emergencies, perform regular maintenance of the common areas, enforce deed violations, and address the critical needs facing homeowners in Greensbrook Section One.

Greensbrook Sec 1 R/P or Greensbrook Section One,  is a deed restricted community initially developed in 1983. Today, it is a diverse and vibrant community of over 400 single-family homes conveniently located in unincorporated NE Harris County approximately 17 miles from downtown Houston.

Section One  is one of the oldest subdivisions in Municipal Utility District No. 148, an independent governing entity that provides utility, infrastructure, water, sewer, stormwater and waste services to this growing section of NE Harris County.

Community First

Our Association believes in putting community first and strives to make a positive difference by prioritizing community engagement and advocacy. Our Association has formed great corporate, non-profit, business and municipal alliances and we regularly hosts neighborhood events intended to boost morale and promote good will.

Community Beautification Events

Greensbrook Section One has been injured and impacted by years of illegal dumping along easements, sidewalks and abandoned lots.  Our Annual Neighborhood Clean-Up Events take place each Spring and are co-sponsored by partnering organizations like Houston Habitat for Humanity, the Houston Bar Association, and the Scientology Volunteer Ministers. During clean-up events, volunteers remove tons of illegally dumped furniture, tires, plastic waste, household waste and construction and yard debris. Spring clean-up dates will be posted on the website's Community Calendar. We hope that you will join us in our efforts to beautify and improve Section One. Clean-Up events include a breakfast snack and a catered lunch for all participants.

Community Youth Events

The Association co-hosts an Annual Youth Basketball Camp for the community's young residents featuring food sponsors who cater lunch and snacks. The camp is led by volunteer professional athletes and trainers in conjunction with the Drexcellence Foundation. Camp Dates and Registration links will be posted on the website and throughout the community weeks in advance of the camp. Basketball camps include a breakfast snack and a catered lunch from a participating sponsor for all participants.

National Night Out Events

Our Association regularly participates in National Night Out in partnership with MUD No. 148 and the Sheriff's Department. National Night Out is a community policing awareness-raising event held each year on the first Tuesday of August.
