Street Lights

CenterPoint Energy maintains the streetlights throughout Greensbrook Section One. If a light is not working or is blinking, please call CenterPoint Energy at 

713-207-2222 or file a report online at

When reporting a malfunctioning light, you will be asked to provide the following:

  1. a pole number for the non-functioning lights, which can be found on the metal plate located on the pole
  2. contact information in case more information is needed to locate a street light
  3. an email address (if you want feedback regarding your repair request)
  4. the number of streetlights you would like to report

Water Services

Water services for Greensbrook Section One is provided by Municipal Utility District No. 148 who contracts with Water Wastewater Management Services, Inc. to handle billing and service issues. Trash service is also billed and handled through this service company. To pay your water/sewer bill or establish new service, visit  https://www.mud148.org/water

Trash collection services are provided by Best Trash and billed through Municipal Utility District No. 148. 

  1. Trash pick-up days are Mondays and Thursdays
  2. Trash should be placed at the curbside by 7:00am on collection day and must be properly packed in containers or bags not exceeding forty (40) gallons 
  3. Heavy trash collection is provided on both days

  • Best Trash will collect tree, shrub and brush trimmings, provided they are bundled in lengths no greater than four (4) feet and weighing less than forty (40) pounds, and branches with a maximum diameter of three (3) inches, and placed at the curb.

Heavy trash DOES NOT include dirt, rocks, bricks, concrete or any materials or items deemed hazardous materials or waste generated by a private contractor, Bulky waste such as refrigerators and freezers must be drained of Freon and have a bill to validate such service was performed. Unincorporated Harris County Offers Free Heavy Trash Drop Off Every 3rd Saturday 

Harris County offers FREE residential heavy trash drop off every 3rd Saturday of the month from 8am - 1pm at the Miller Road Service Center at 15530 Miller Road 1 / Houston, Texas 77049. You must bring proof of residency, such as a Texas I.D. The following Items are accepted free of charge: 

 

  1. old tires (less than 5)
  2. furniture
  3. mattresses
  4. old appliances
  5. wood fencing (no nails or screws)
  6. yard waste (less than 6 feet)
  7. non-commercial/residential construction waste, including shingles, carpet, lumber and sheetrock
  8. recycling for paper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum cans and glass is also accepted

Eighteen Wheelers Are Banned from Parking Overnight in Greensbrook Section One

In 2022, after years of advocacy by residents, Harris County Commissioners Court made it illegal to park an eighteen wheeler or large commercial vehicles on residential streets in Greensbrook Section One. Towing and ticketing of eighteen wheelers is enforced by the Harris County Sheriff's Department. Please report the presence of eighteen wheelers parked overnight anywhere in the subdivision to the Association or to the Sheriff's Department.

This system helps manage resident requests for various county departments, such as cleaning drainage ditches or fixing playground equipment.
